Standing Committees 
 

Bylaws - Janine Brown - Chair

Review & amend Bylaws as needed, develop and review Standing Rules, notice membership of National Amendments to local Bylaws.

Education & Programs - Sally Ireland - Chair

Plan & develop programs for Chapter meetings that follow the categories developed by National, evaluate programs´ impact and success, work with the local Board, ADRE, NAR affiliates and nearby educational institutions to provide education to members.  Works under the direction of President-Elect.

Finance & Budget - Susan Bender Ross - Chair,  - Audit

Prepare annual budget, review budget & expenditures.  Prepare quarterly audits with the Audit subcommittee. Works under the direction of the treasurer.

Membership - Dana Kitchen & Christopher Holmes - Chairs

Works to recruit new members, retain current members, notify National & State WCR of changes of status or member info., compiles & publishes chapter roster, and pre-qualifies candidates for National Affiliate membership.  Works under the direction of the Vice President of Membership.

Nominating Committee - All board officers - Chairs

MUST BE ELECTED  to serve the following year - cannot run for office while on the committee, fulfill the obligations of the Bylaws.  The chair of the committee is the immediate past president of the chapter.  Works under the direction of the Local Chapter President.

Ways & Means - Courtland Fournier & Connie Johnson - Chairs  

Assumes from the Finance and Budget Committee, the responsibility to conduct fund raising programs to enable the chapter to operate.  The committee is responsible for planning events and including all of the membership in executing their plans.

Marketing - Lisa Cline Davis, Sue Barnes - Evites, Lyn Trayte - Newsletter

Historians- Lorrie Feld & Lisa Cline Davis

Prepare media releases: copy State & National on local newspaper clips: plan & prepare meeting notices, dissemination of necessary member information (phone, fax, mail, & email); newsletter, membership bio information, website for the membership; coordinate a photographic record of chapter activities for history & publicity.

Special Committees 
 

Scholarship, Awards & Recognition - Sue Barnes- Chair

In charge of the Member of the Year award & responsible for collecting & reviewing applications for the local Scholarship Awards.  Works under the direction of the Secretary.

Hospitality - Carrie McNichols & Dana Kichen
 Welcome newcomers: encourage unity & friendship. Record reservations for Chapter meetings, arrange meeting place & menu; responsible for reservations equaling guarantee; maintain attendance records. Works under the direction of the Secretary.
